David K. Rhoads
Dr. David K. Rhoads has been in business since 1973 and opened the present facility at Prairie Trail Center in 1987.
Dr. Rhoads grew up in Wheaton, Illinois, attended Wheaton College for two years and graduated from Northern Illinois University. After teaching physics for three years and realizing his enjoyment of optics and physics, he entered school at the Illinois College of Optometry, graduating as a Doctor of Optometry(OD). He is also certified in diagnostic and theraputic drugs. This enables Central DuPage Vision Center to treat glaucoma and other eye diseases. Staying up to date on the newest medical technology in eye care is important to Dr. Rhoads and his staff.
Dr. Rhoads is a member of Wheaton Bible Church. He is also a member of the National Eye Research Foundation - Orthokeratology Section, a fellow of the Orthokeratology Academy of America, the Ophthalmic Education Association, and the Winfield Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Rhoads is available to speak to groups about the correlation between vision and reading problems.
